Last week we held our annual Fall Appreciation Event celebrating the hard work of our Royal LePage Performance Realty Sales Representatives and Support Staff. Every year we choose a fun theme for the evening and this year was no different! The Caribbean theme was chosen not only to counteract the increasingly colder Ottawa winter weather, but to honour the evening’s fundraising initiative for hurricane relief for the Caribbean islands of Barbuda and Montserrat.
As we encourage our agents to dress according to the theme, we obviously had to announce winners for the best dressed! This year the male winner was Ryan Packulak, who looked dashing in a nautical-inspired outfit as if he’d just stepped off a luxury yacht. The female winner was Malissa Garcia, who impressed the judges with her fantastic feathered headpiece.
Bringing a little island flavour to a cold November evening was the Nepean Panharmonic Steel Band, who did a fantastic job of getting everyone in the party mood! The event was held at the St Elias Centre; the space looked wonderful and the staff there were amazing and accommodating all evening long.
Thanks to our 50/50 draw, we raised $970.00 for hurricane relief for those affected in Barbuda and Montserrat. Our lucky draw winner was Peter Benoit, who received $970.00.
We would like to thank all who attended for their participation and for their support on the hurricane relief funds raised to support those sadly affected in the Caribbean. We look forward to another successful event next year!
