Last Friday night we gathered together our fantastic team of Royal LePage Performance Realty RealtorsⓇ, assistants and staff for a Surf ‘n Turf Appreciation Night. We are so proud of the hard work our team does year-round and love any chance to show them our appreciation! This year, we decided a Surf ‘n Turf event would be the best way to chase away the approaching winter blues and put smiles on everyone’s faces.
With a sooner-than-expected snowfall arriving in Ottawa last week, the event took place at the St Elias Centre on a chilly wintery evening. However, our staff didn’t let the cold bother them and showed up dressed in their best denim and plaid outfits, ready for an enjoyable evening of conversation, dancing, and lobster!
During the event we held a Silent Auction to raise money for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. Royal LePage is the only Canadian real estate company to have its own charitable foundation and the Shelter Foundation is Canada’s largest public foundation dedicated exclusively to funding women’s shelters and violence prevention programs. This year, we raised $3,605 for the Shelter Foundation! Every dollar goes directly to helping the more than 50,000 women and children who are served each year by the shelters and support programs it funds.
We would like to give a huge shout out to our very generous sponsors for the auction items they donated. A big thank you to:
Dave Itenson, Unified Voice & Data
Bruce Fitzsimmons, AMJ Campbell
Vicky & Ron Elias, London House
Vaughn McKinney, Parliament Cleaning Group

We would also like to say a big thank you to everyone who attended our Appreciation Night. We hope you had fun and look forward to seeing you at the next event!
