Performance Realty is happy to announce that this week’s Annual Luncheon and Auction for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation raised $25,400, with additional proceeds expected in the coming weeks from raffle tickets and other sources. This year’s fundraising goal was set at $25,000 and we’re very happy to announce we were able to surpass our goal!
Our Bank Street location hosts the Luncheon and Auction annually, with the Auction Committee and Bank Street branch staff working hard to set up both the live and silent auction, arrange the potluck lunch, and help visitors with whatever they need while attending the event. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in making this event such a success, including the volunteers from Nelson House, an Ottawa women’s shelter, who were on hand to assist with the day’s events and donated food to the potluck lunch as well.
While we host many successful events for the Shelter Foundation throughout the year, the Auction is the biggest fundraiser of them all. There are countless hours put in by the Auction Committee and other volunteers to ensure the event runs smoothly. Thank you to all who have contributed to another successful year, and to those who generously donated to the live and silent auctions.
