Royal LePage Performance Reality Cornwall Branch has continued to support the community. Friday June 19th Joanne LeCompte, branch administrator, presented the Maison Baldwin House with a donation cheque of $4,000. Jessica Wyatt, volunteer coordinator, accepted on behalf of Maison Baldwin House at the Cornwall branch office.
The Royal LePage Performance Realty team has been contributing to the Maison Baldwin House through the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, Canada’s largest public foundation exclusively dedicated to funding women’s shelters. The funds are donated to the foundation, and the foundation then supports a variety of shelters and violence prevention programs across the nation.
The Maison Baldwin House is situated in Cornwall providing safety, shelter, and a secure transition from circumstances of violence or abuse. Royal LePage Performance Realty Cornwall recognizes that they are a situation where they can help to influence change. They also combined a donation of $10,000 for the Maison Baldwin House this spring, during the National Annual Royal LePage Garage Sale! Jessica Wyatt knows that the shelter is an important and needed participant in the community, and is pleased with the support. She stated, “It means a lot that these agents have come together to help us. Royal LePage funds women’s shelters and violence prevention programs nationwide, and we appreciate it.”
