This past weekend we enjoyed our 13th Annual Company Picnic at Proulx Farm in Cumberland! We are always happy to return to Proulx Farm as it is the perfect space for our family-oriented event, with lots of room for the children to run around and lots of structures for them to play on!
Though the weather in Ottawa this spring has been less than favourable, we were lucky to enjoy a gloriously sunny day without a cloud in the sky! As employees arrived, they were gifted a tote bag with a Royal LePage Performance Realty branded water canteen to ensure everyone stayed hydrated throughout the day.
After filling up on burgers, hot dogs and delicious salads, the children were treated to face-painting, balloon sculptures, pony rides, and a petting zoo! We were also joined by The Keepers, a fantastic organization committed to educating the public about the importance of wildlife conservation, responsible pet ownership and re-releasing animals into their natural habitat. During their show, children were introduced to an array of exotic animals and birds.
Later in the afternoon, we held some fun events: the three-legged race and water balloon toss! Everyone participating in these events won either a $5 Dairy Queen voucher or a $5 McDonalds voucher.
All in all, it was a fantastic day spent with fantastic people. Thank you to everyone who came along and participated! We enjoy every moment we get to spend with our stellar team, who are the very best at what they do. We can’t wait for next year!
