Royal LePage Performance Realty takes pride in giving back to the community. Many of our brokers and agents participate in our company wide charities, but many also support charities of their choice. We could not be more pleased to share some of the efforts of our large hearted colleagues.
Chris Coveny, a Royal LePage Performance Realty Broker, will be hosting the inaugural V2 Golf Cart Classic tournament for JDRF and Team Diabetes on June 26th, 2015. Chris has been in support of Diabetic awareness for over a decade and has previously hosted other Diabetes fundraisers. This year, he has set a goal to register 360 participants for the golf tournament which would result in approximately $90,000 raised. The event has been initiated in honor of his two daughters, who are both insulin dependent and all proceeds from the event will be donated to Team Diabetes and JDRF, where funding is used towards research in finding a cure.
The event its self differs from the average golf tournament, in that this is open to both golfers and non golfers. Other activities include inflatable jousting, massages, ‘beat the pro’, and mechanical bull riding.
