Tribeca Condominiums is a new condo project from Claridge Homes, located at 179 Metcalfe Street in the heart of Ottawa’s downtown. Centretown has seen plenty of exciting new condo developments recently, and Tribeca is a welcome addition to the mix.

The project website describes the new condo as a “world-class complex in a world-class neighbourhood,” highlighting some of the features that help make Centretown a sought-after area for condo buyers, including Parliament Hill, the National Gallery of Canada, and the Canadian Museum of Civilization. When not out for a night on the town, residents can enjoy views of the ByWard Market, the Rideau Canal, and the Gatineau Hills from the comfort of home.
Available condos range in price from $329,000 to $567,000 depending on floor plan and the style of suite. Buyers can choose from one or two bedroom units, with many suites including dens for some added square footage. Many units have already been sold throughout the building’s 27 storeys, so be sure to check out the website to find the floor plan that’s right for you.
According to Tribeca’s website, suites are “equipped with the latest modern conveniences, plus a few extra luxuries to make your home life that much sweeter.” The condos feature expansive windows and private balconies or terraces, offering exceptional views of Ottawa’s downtown. Engineered hardwood floors are available in the living and dining areas, kitchens, front entrances, and dens, with ceramic floors in bathrooms and foyers.
The Tribeca Club offers several amenities for its residents, including a 4,500 square foot recreation centre on the top level of the building, which includes an indoor swimming pool, a kids’ splash pad, fitness facilities, and a private lounge and multimedia room. Residents can offer the guest room for their out-of-town visitors, and entertain family and friends on the landscaped terraces.
Downtown Ottawa offers lots to see and do for both residents and their guests, whether it’s shopping along Bank Street or in the ByWard Market, or grabbing dinner and drinks at a pub on Elgin Street. Enjoy weekends taking a long walk through Centretown, or get active with friends and family by touring downtown by bicycle. Cycling and pedestrian paths alongside the Ottawa River offer beautiful scenery and an escape from the bustle of urban living.
